Bituminous membranes

Bituminous membrane is the most widely used and reliable waterproofing system today.

Bituminous-polymer membrane is composed of two components:

- the bituminous mixture, made of polymer-modified bitumen distillate.
- the reinforcement, which can be of various type, synthetic or mineral-based (polyester/fibreglass coating).

Polymers used

- SBS (Styrene butadiene styrene)
- APP (Atactic Polypropylene)
